Pastor Mark Brockman leads our congregation in the study of the book of ACTS. The acts of the Apostles is the 5th book of the new testament with many stories to help us in our current times. A PAUSE IN THE STUDY OF ACTS
Between the Christmas holidays and Easter, we left the book of ACTS to study some of the Psalms and to celebrate the Easter season. On May 1, 2022 we cam back to the book of ACTS with Pastor Mark. When you see the break in the sermons… this is why.

October 9, 2022 – As the book of ACTS came to a close last week, Pastor Mark and Sligo paused to observe the Lord’s Supper. It was a nice time between studies to have this service.

October 2, 2022 – The study of the book of ACTS draws to a close this Sunday in October. It began in April of 2021 as the pandemic was in full swing. Mark rolled the scroll at the front for the last time this Sunday.

September 25, 2022 – Pastor and Deacon Ed Rockwell brings the message for Sligo Today.

September 18, 2022 – Pastor Mark Brockman continues his study in the book of ACTS. Sligo is getting close to the end of ACTS as Paul travels to different countries.

September 11, 2022 – Pastor Mark continues the study of ACTS.

September 4, 2022 – Deacon Tim Moore shares a message about Labor Day and being a Christian.

August 28, 2022 – Pastor Mark continues his sermon series in the book of ACTS.

May 29, 2022 – The last Sunday in May has the title “As if”. Join Pastor Mark Brockman as he takes us through chapter 17 of the book of Acts.

May 22, 2022 – This sermon was titled “Our stand is not political”. Pastor Mark started the sermon with a video and keep going from there.

May 15, 2022 – We rolled the scroll again this Sunday to talk about a rich lady, a fortune teller and a suicidal jailer coming to know our Lord and help start one of the first churches.

May 8, 2022 – Pastor Mark Brockman talked about Grace Alone in his sermon today on Mother’s Day 2022.

May 1, 2022 – Pastor Mark Brockman returns to the book of ACTS with a message titled “Grace Alone”. During this time we also observed the Lord’s Supper.

December 19, 2021 – Pastor Mark shares the 4th advent message titled “Everybody Else”

December 12, 2021 – Pastor Mark shares the 3rd advent message titled “Mary and Joseph”

December 5, 2021 – Pastor Mark Brockman shares the 2nd advent message titled “Jesus”. A continued mega thanks to Tammy Cantrell for providing sign language during our morning services.

November 28, 2021 – Deacon Tim Moore shares a message about Gratitude and living a life counting your blessings. This is the first Sunday of advent and lighting of the candles.

November 14, 2021 – Observance of the Lord’s Supper with Pastor Mark and the members of our church.

August 29, 2021 – One more week of sharing our faith with Pastor Mark. This Sunday’s message is “Is church all that important?”

August 22, 2021 – As part of a three week series on sharing your faith, Pastor Mark talks about a question so many ask… “Will God really answer my prayers?”.

August 15, 2021 – Pastor Mark takes the first of a few Sundays to exit the book of ACTS and talk about sharing your faith with others. Today’s message is how to talk with your kids about God.

August 8, 2021 – “Let the Spirit Lead” is the message this week from ACTS chapter 8. Pastor Mark preaches from the sanctuary for the second week in August. Enjoy!

August 1, 2021 – Pastor Mark Brockman and our church members move back into our church sanctuary this week. The message this week is from the book of ACTS – “It’s Amazing”. Enjoy the sermon and a little singing at the end of the service.

May 9, 2021 – Pastor Mark focuses on the first chapter of Acts with a sermon titled “Action!”. Jesus spends 40 days with his close followers and tells them to get ready.

May 2, 2021 – Join Pastor Mark Brockman as he begins our study of the book of Acts. This first week is about meeting the author of Acts… Luke. Join Mark as we begin our study of the 5th book of the New Testament.

April 25, 2021 – Join Pastor Ed Rockwell as he provides the message – “The Storms of Life”. Ed gave the Sunday message while Pastor Mark was away on vacation.
